She started it all. Some called her mean I called her strong and wise. She couldn't read or write. She didn't even drive but she raised 11 children to be strong and independent. She is my grandmother Lena Batiste she raised me to be a lady, to be polite and respectful. I lived with her many years of my child life. I didn't understand a lot of what she was trying to teach me when I was a child but now as a adult I appreciate all that she did for me and with me and it because of her that I am who I am today. It is because of her that we are all here. Remain Blessed and enjoy the family reunion

3. Resolution to approve Neighborhood Empowerment Projects over $10,000, at a total cost of $113,228.00.
4. Resolution to authorize Mayor and/or Deputy Mayor to enter into a contract with Data Strategy, LLC for the
acquisition of a server and storage equipment in the amount of $64,500.
5. The Pontiac City Council ordains that the City Ordinance entitled "Subdivision N. Demolition," be amended to
"Article VII. Building, Demolition, Implosion and Moving."
6. Resolution requesting the Pontiac City Council to schedule a public hearing on the Reprogramming of Community
Development Block Grant Program Year 2016 funds $75,000 from Employment and Training to Public Services
(General-Yard Services) on July 3, 2018.
7. Resolution requesting that the Pontiac City Council approve the Planning Commission's recommendation for the
Zoning Map Amendment ZMA 18-05 request for 339 S. Paddock Street, also known as PIN 64-14-33-179-001, to
amend the current site zoning from R-1 One Family Dwelling District zoning to M-1 Light Manufacturing District .
8. Resolution requesting that the Pontiac City Council approve the Planning Commission's recommendation for the
Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA 18-06) request for PIN 64-14-19-351-022, to amend the current zoning from MUD
Mixed Use District zoning to M-1 Light Manufacturing District.
9. Resolution requesting that the Pontiac City Council approve the Planning Commission's recommendation for the
Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA 18-03) request for 245 S. Paddock Street, also known as PIN 64-14-33-136-001, to
amend the current zoning from R-2 Two Family and Terrance Dwelling District zoning to R-3 Multiple Family
Dwelling District.
10. Resolution requesting that the Pontiac City Council endorse and support both Senate Bill 469 and House Bill 5178
and calls upon the Michigan Legislature to pass this important legislation and Governor Snyder to sign it, in order
to stimulate appropriate development and redevelopment and protect the historic character and quality of life of our
communities; and that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Michigan Historic Preservation Network.

I'm in the hospital in Arlington, VA. I had surgery for a brain aneurysm that came suddenly yesterday. Surgery went well; inserted coils to kill the cells so it won't grow. I'll be in the hospital for the next 10 days. Please keep me in your prayers. I love you all.
